





Our Story
A few years ago, I learned that one of our best UX designers was at risk of being let go. I heard this casually from our HRBP and was surprised, since she had been a top performer until just three months prior. Concerned, I reached out to her director to understand what had changed. He mentioned she was preparing for a major life event and that her performance had declined—but he hadn't told her, fearing he would add more stress to her plate.

How Catch Up AI Transforms Management and Employee Success
Realizing the misunderstanding, I stepped in and suggested a performance improvement plan instead of an immediate dismissal. It worked: once she knew where she stood and received the support she needed, she bounced back and continued to excel. Through this experience (and many others), I saw how uncomfortable or untrained many managers are when it comes to giving constructive feedback. This realization led us to build Catch Up AI, so every employee across the globe can receive fair, personalized management and professional growth, and every leader can focus on strategic work while relying on an intelligent system to handle the "people side" of management. They'll know exactly when to intervene, rather than letting performance or morale quietly slip through the cracks.
