Terms of Service & Sub-processors

📄 Catch Up AI — Terms of Service
Welcome to Catch Up AI. By using our products, integrations, and services (the “Services”), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
📝 1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using Catch Up AI, including integrations with Slack, Zoom, GitHub, Jira, or other platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy & Security Policy.
👤 2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use our Services.
⚙️ 3. Use of Services
- You may use our Services only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- You agree not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the Services (e.g., reverse engineering, unauthorized access, or distributing malicious code).
- Catch Up AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for business or personal purposes, subject to these Terms.
🔐 4. Data & Privacy
- We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy & Security Policy.
- Workspace admins act as the data controllers. End users should direct privacy requests (access, deletion, or transfer) through their organization’s administrator. We support administrators in fulfilling those requests.
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
🔌 5. Slack & Third-Party Integrations
- When using our Slack app or other integrations, you authorize Catch Up AI to access only the scopes and permissions explicitly granted through OAuth and shown during installation.
- We do not access or store private messages (DMs) or private channels unless a workspace admin explicitly enables the scope required.
- Catch Up AI is not responsible for the availability or reliability of third-party platforms.
🕒 6. Service Availability
- We strive to provide reliable Services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- We may suspend, limit, or modify Services for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.
⚖️ 7. Limitation of Liability
- Catch Up AI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catch Up AI and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
- Our total liability in connection with the Services will not exceed the amount paid (if any) by you to Catch Up AI in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
⛔ 8. Termination
- You may stop using the Services at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a harmful manner.
- Upon termination, your access tokens are revoked and data is deleted in line with our Privacy & Security Policy.
🔄 9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
🏛️ 10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

🧩 Catch Up AI — Sub-processors
Catch Up AI uses carefully selected third-party service providers (“sub-processors”) to support delivery of our Services. Each sub-processor is contractually bound to appropriate data protection and confidentiality obligations.
📋 Current Sub-processors
1. Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Purpose: Hosting, storage (ECS/Fargate, S3), database (RDS), cache (ElastiCache/Redis), message queues (SQS), logging/monitoring (CloudWatch), encryption key management (KMS).
- Data processed: Application data, user data, telemetry, and backups.
- Location: United States
2. Microsoft Azure / OpenAI
- Purpose: Large language model API used for summaries and assistant replies.
- Data processed: Prompts and minimal context required for feature delivery.
- Notes: Data is not used to train provider’s models. Provider may retain inputs for up to 30 days for abuse prevention.
- Location: United States
3. Auth0 (Okta)
- Purpose: Authentication and authorization.
- Data processed: User identity metadata (email, tokens, roles).
- Location: United States
4. Sentry
- Purpose: Error monitoring and performance telemetry.
- Data processed: Minimized metadata and error traces. No Slack message content.
- Location: United States
5. Microsoft Clarity
- Purpose: Website and application analytics (heatmaps, click tracking, anonymized session recordings).
- Data processed: Visitor interaction data (clicks, device/browser metadata, usage sessions).
- Notes: Clarity is not connected to Slack message content or workspace integrations. It is limited to web/app usage analytics.
- Location: United States
Optional / Feature-Specific Sub-processors
These providers are only active if specific features are enabled by the customer:
6. Algolia
- Purpose: Search/indexing features (if enabled by customer).
- Data processed: Metadata and customer-configured content indices.
- Location: United States
Change Notification Policy
We will keep this list current. If we add or replace a sub-processor in a way that materially expands data processing, we will notify customer workspace administrators at least 30 days in advance.
